Sunday Sweeties-Pancakes 2/17/13

Linky links.

As some of you may know, today is the first Sunday of Lent. Being a very rebellious Christian, I myself was absent from church, but my dad came back from mass with the story of the forty days Jesus spent in the desert when he fasted and how the Devil tried to tempt him. Jesus refused, maintaining, “Man does not live by bread alone.”

I like that quote. In our struggles through life, we should all remember that.

But if it were an option, I would certainly live by pancakes alone.

Pancakes. That one word can completely FLIP my day upside down (get it? Like, you flip pancakes?). And I always find the most incredible and delicious looking pancake recipes online, but being lazy, I never have the chance to try them out before someone else has already made breakfast πŸ˜₯

On my to-do list:

Gingerbread Cinnamon Roll Pancakes by Recipe Girl

Funfetti Pancakes by Cakespy via Serious Eats

Healthy Oreo Pancakes by Chocolate Covered Katie

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Pancakes by Rachel Cooks

Greek Yogurt Pancakes by Chobani

Nutella Pancakes by Army Wife 101 ❀ ❀ ❀

Lemon Blueberry, Strawberry Overload, and Cinnamon Roll Pancakes by Java Cupcake

Smores Pancakes by Taste and Tell via Cafe Zupas

And a Pancake Cake!

Chocolate Pancake Cake πŸ˜‰

If you try any of these or have another cool pancake recipe, let me know!

    • Oh my gosh thanks!! And you’re welcome haha I actually used to hate Nutella and I recently became obsessed with it, so I was really excited when I found your recipe and will probably devour the entire batch in one sitting.
