As some of you may know, today is the first Sunday of Lent. Being a very rebellious Christian, I myself was absent from church, but my dad came back from mass with the story of the forty days Jesus spent in the desert when he fasted and how the Devil tried to tempt him. Jesus refused, maintaining, “Man does not live by bread alone.”
I like that quote. In our struggles through life, we should all remember that.
But if it were an option, I would certainly live by pancakes alone.
Pancakes. That one word can completely FLIP my day upside down (get it? Like, you flip pancakes?). And I always find the most incredible and delicious looking pancake recipes online, but being lazy, I never have the chance to try them out before someone else has already made breakfast 😥
